From the towering cliffs of Zion and the quiet slot canyons of the high desert to the sculpted hoodoos of Bryce Canyon and the vast stillness of Capitol Reef beneath star-filled skies, this journey moves through some of the American Southwest’s most awe-inspiring landscapes.

We’ll wander canyon trails, cycle along paved paths to grand panoramic viewpoints, soak in dusking desert light, and gather for informal shared meals and simple, communal bunking that feels more like a thoughtful girlfriends’ getaway than a traditional tour.

A deposit of 50% of the HHJ trip cost is required to reserve your spot on the trip.

If a cancellation is made prior to 180 days before the trip date, the entire deposit will be refunded less a $300 per person service charge. If a cancellation is made from 180 to 90 days prior to the trip departure date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If a cancellation is made within 90 days of the trip departure date, the entire trip fee is forfeited. All cancellations must be received in writing to info@honestheartjourneys.com. 

It is highly unlikely that we will cancel a trip, but we do reserve the right to cancel due to weather, natural disasters, emergencies or a lack of sufficient reservations. If we cancel a trip, a full refund of the trip deposit and any final payment will be given.

Our welcome gathering offers space to meet one another, share curiosities and intentions, and begin building connection, while the second call invites us to explore our theme of stillness and the breathtaking canyon landscapes that will shape our experience together.

Begin our journey in the vibrant canyon town of Springdale at the entrance to Zion National Park. Settle into our beautiful lodging surrounded by sweeping sandstone views before gathering for a warm HHJ welcome and shared dinner beginning at 4PM.

Guests flying into Las Vegas should arrive by noon to join the group shuttle to Zion.

Immerse yourself in the majesty of Zion National Park with the ease and spontaneity of a girlfriends’ getaway. Begin our first day with a scenic e-bike adventure through Zion Canyon, with time for the Riverside Walk and a glimpse of the Narrows.

Our second day opens up options for leisurely exploring town and independent park wandering or a vigorous hike to the spectacular views of Scout Lookout.

Evenings unfold with shared meals, dusking desert light, hot tub relaxation, and meaningful conversation.

Now we transition into the quieter and more spacious eastern Zion region where authentic ranch surroundings, open skies, and lesser-traveled trails invite deeper slowing down.

Explore sweeping canyon overlooks, hidden desert trails, and the breathtaking views of Observation Point while immersing ourselves in the peaceful beauty of Utah’s high prairie.

Together, we’ll share sunset gatherings, stargazing, firepit evenings, relaxed ranch meals, and optional adventures like horseback riding or slot canyon exploration – ending with a leisurely stroll among the otherworldly hoodoo formations of Grand Staircase-Escalante.

Journey north for views above and below the stunning geology and pastel-colored spires of Bryce Canyon’s dramatic amphitheaters.

Then, arrive in the more remote and wonderfully diverse Capitol Reef National Park.

Highlights include:

• Serene canyon bathing beneath eons-old sculpted sanctuaries.

• Orchard picnics near historic homesteads and ancient petroglyphs.

• Brisk or unhurried hikes to view the park’s striking geologic wonders.

• Restful sunset gatherings overlooking canyon folds.

We’ll close with a celebration dinner and final reflection under vast desert skies.

Morning return journey to Las Vegas for flights home after 3PM.

We carry with us new friendships, expanded perspective, and the lingering stillness of canyon country.

Several weeks after returning home, guests will be invited to an online reunion gathering to reconnect, share ongoing reflections, and celebrate  our time together.
